Vote Lainie Motamedi for Board of Education

Lainie Motamedi has been active in reforming SFUSD for many years. She was Co-Chair of the Public Education Enrichment Fund Committee, where she developed and delivered an important set of recommendations to reform how the $80 million Public Education Enrichment Fund is administered. Lainie also served on the Local Control Accountability Plan (LACP) Task Force for over two years, where she advocated for greater transparency and community engagement. 

Lainie's policy expertise has already enabled her to take a leadership role in reforming how the Board operates and identifying opportunities to improve reading curriculum. She is laser-focused on improving student outcomes and making sure the District is fiscally responsible. At the same time, Lainie also has a deep appreciation for how important it is that SFUSD be a good place for teachers to work.
