Vote No on the Newsom Recall
We do not feel that Governor Newsom has met any of the standards set out to be recalled.
We feel his performance as Governor has been good, even as he faced the difficult task of leading the largest state in the nation through a pandemic. We do not feel that Newsom’s conduct has qualified him to be recalled, nor has he placed his interests above those of the State of California. Therefore, Families for San Francisco endorses a ‘no’ vote on the recall of Gavin Newsom.
2021 Newsom Recall Guide
On September 14, California voters will be asked to judge Gavin Newsom’s performance as Governor in a recall election. This will be the second Gubernatorial recall election in California history, and the fourth in US history.
Families for San Francisco has created this guide on the recall process and on the candidates to replace Governor Newsom.
SFUSD Parent Advisory Council Appointments
Families for San Francisco believes that diverse representation on the SFUSD school board’s Parent Advisory Committee (PAC) is vitally important. The lack of diversity within existing PAC membership and as reflected in the newest slate of appointments, especially for dads, is a major issue and concern.
